Eddy Kay was born, bred and lightly sauteed in Detroit, Michigan,

with stints in Los Angeles, California and Asheville, North Carolina.

Throughout his career as a comedian and motivational speaker, Eddy has always been a performing musician.  He founded Cotton Mouth Music years ago and still records there to this day.

In addition, Eddy was a Stand up, comedian for over a decade doing local and national clubs.   Music and comedy.  What else could you want?

With the exception of drums, unless otherwise noted, Eddy plays every instrument on every recording: Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, Mandola, Octave Mandolin, Banjo, and Keyboard strings.  He sings all the vocals, including all the background vocals and writes 95% of his material.

He now spends his time exclusively as a singer songwriter, performer, living happily ever after with his family in Detroit.
